Why Ignoring AI Is NOT an Option
“AI will be the best or worst thing ever for humanity. We have to get it right.”– Elon Musk
“AI is bigger than the Internet and Crypto combined.”– Alex Jurca
🙂 My quote sits well next to Elon’s, right?!
On a more serious note, one of the reasons why I started writing this newsletter is that I felt that I would benefit the most from this.
How? Well, I would have to test my understanding of different concepts, tactics and, sometimes our mind can play tricks on us.
We feel we “get” something before we actually do.
We all want to feel smarter than we are!
Only when you have to write something or when you try to teach it do you actually understand if you completely get it or if you have to dig deeper before you can teach it.
AI is one ot these topics where I feel I have an edge on most people BUT still have a lot to learn, test, and teach.
What I know for sure is that AI is already here, and it’s reshaping the business landscape with unimaginable speed.
If you’re not using AI, your competitors already have the advantage.
Companies that embrace AI are automating smarter, scaling faster, and outperforming everyone else.
What about those who hesitate …!?
Well, they’ll be fighting an uphill battle until they’re eventually left behind…
The question isn’t IF AI will change your industry.
It already has.
The Businesses That Ignore AI Are Already Losing
Every major business shift creates two groups:
✅ Those who recognize the shift, act early, and dominate their space.
❌ Those who hesitate, downplay the change, and eventually become obsolete.
We’ve seen this happen before.
The internet, social media, automation.
Each wave created winners and losers.
AI will do exactly the same!
A 2023 McKinsey report found that 77% of businesses already use AI in some form.
It’s 2025 now!
Do you get it !!!??
It’s not just tech giants. It’s also startups, local businesses, and solo entrepreneurs integrating AI into their daily operations.
The remaining 23%? They’re on borrowed time, and most likely, some of them will be almost dead by the time of this newsletter .
“AI is the new electricity.” – Andrew Ng, an AI expert and co-founder of Google Brain
AI Is Not Just for Big Companies,
It’s for You
The biggest misconception about AI? That it’s only for massive corporations with billion-dollar budgets.
The reality? AI is more accessible than ever.
Right now, small businesses and entrepreneurs are using AI-powered tools to work smarter, reduce costs, and scale faster.
Here’s how one can use it in our space :
- E-commerce brands – They use AI to predict customer demand, automate pricing, personalize recommendation,
- Marketing teams leverage AI tools like ChatGPT and Jasper to create high-performing ad copy and email sequences in minutes instead of hours
- Freelancers and consultants automate client onboarding, email responses, and administrative tasks. They are saving hours every week.
If you think AI isn’t relevant to your business, just know this: Your competitors already think otherwise.
AI vs. Doing Everything the Hard Way
Being in contact with different clients on our consulting calls gives us an edge. (That’s one of the reasons we do them, tbh)
We understand where people spend their time.
We feel their pain, and we come up with ways of saving both money and time through automation. ( I saw a post a few weeks ago about one of the best performing companies in the world in terms of efficiency and the biggest takeaway I found was that the owner of the company thought about the long term money spent on an employee….he was not thinking about 5k/month – he was thinking more like 5k x 12months x 30 years = $1.8M – thats how much one business spends long term – imagine saving that)
I can list the top 3 things that come to mind.
We automated them last month for us and some of our clients.
.
- Email outreach – we bought lists of emails from brokers for our target audience, automated the email validation, and we are now sending over 100k emails a month with this automation (and it can be scaled to millions pretty easily). Any business could leverage this. It’s fast, cheaper than any other option, and a good way to warm up your audience.
- Research – we use a combination of Notebook LLM and Gemini 2.5 …
- Notebook LLM is best for deep thinking and project planning . You can save and organize stuff, do technical research, business analysis, and note heavy projects that you need to handle with your team
- Gemini 2.5 has direct access to Google search, and it can give you the latest stats, market trends on your products, competitive analysis, or articles on any topic. It pulls up live web data, and it feels like you have an assistant that knows what they are talking about.
For example, for our sourcing business (www.asiasourcingpros.com) we use both of them to research which certifications are needed to import different product types from Asia into the US or Europe. This used to cost thousands to consulting companies and now we can handle it in house for a fraction of that cost.
There is no business that doesn’t rely on research. We all need to understand trends and spot them early, customer behavious and changes in our industry. We all need to make sure we reduce spots possible and make better decisions.
- Content automation – EVERY business should leverage content and every business leader should build personal brands (I am walking this talk) . You will soon see MJ and I everywhere – tiktok, X, Linkedin, Threads, Youtube etc. We are on the final steps of automating a lot of the distribution of content.
We are recording videos and writing articles ourselves but distribution to different platforms, repurposing content (for example, this post will also be used in short form posts on X , threads, shorter post on linkedin etc) and even idea generation are automated.
You can Start by playing around with Chat GPT and see how it can help you generate content for your business. Once you have that figured out, we can talk about automating it. (more on this later)
The Cost of Ignoring AI
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Not using AI isn’t a neutral choice
It’s a decision to make things harder for yourself.
Every day you delay AI adoption, your competitors are:
✔ Automating tasks you’re still doing manually.
✔ Using AI to optimize marketing while you rely on outdated guesswork.
✔ Scaling their business while you’re bogged down in inefficiencies.
The businesses that ignored e-commerce, social media, and automation? They don’t exist anymore.
The same will happen to companies that resist AI.
How to Start Using AI Without Overcomplicating It
You don’t need a six-month plan to integrate AI.
You don’t even need to understand how AI works.
You just need to start.
Here is how you can do it in a few very easy steps:
1️⃣ Identify one repetitive task that drains your time (research, emails, scheduling, customer support).
2️⃣ Find an AI-powered tool that automates it (ChatGPT, Jasper, Zapier, Gemini).
3️⃣ Test it for a week—track how much time and effort it saves you.
4️⃣ Expand from there as you see results.
Once you realize how easy it is to integrate AI into your business, you’ll wonder why you waited so long.
Can’t you figure out how to do it by yourself?
Email me, tell me what you would like to automate for your business and where you need help and I’ll add it to our audience-suggested list of topics to cover. I will manage to create a how-to video on it if there is enough demand.
AI or DIE
What’s Your Move?
AI isn’t a trend—it’s the future of business.
The companies that embrace AI now will dominate.
The ones that hesitate? They’ll struggle to catch up—or won’t survive at all.
Every day you wait, your competitors are getting smarter, faster, and more efficient.
So the real question is:
AI or DIE ?!
What’s YOUR move?
