Hey, I’m MJ
Over the last decade, I’ve scaled multiple businesses from the ground up. I’ve made plenty of mistakes, been coached, learned from failures, and found my way through the chaos. Now, I’m obsessed with understanding how to scale a startup into a multi-million dollar company and ultimately exit it.
What I did in the last 10 years:
- Co-founded an eCommerce sports brand, MavaSports, which achieved $18 million in revenue and was eventually sold to an investment fund.
- Co-founded AsiaSourcingPros.com, a platform that helps businesses save money by sourcing the exact same products they already have, or new and innovative products they want.
- Built a team in China and opened an office in Shenzhen.
- Provided consulting to businesses with annual revenues ranging from $1M to $1B, such as DHS and Altex, helping them improve sales, strategy, and sourcing.
- Invested in and scaled a traditional startup (construction company) that grew from $100K to $3M in revenue in 3 years, implementing missing elements like automation, sourcing savings, and advertising strategy.
What I’m doing now:
- Actively looking for startups to invest in and scale using my experience.
- Consulting businesses on scaling and optimizing their processes.
- Building useful day-to-day products with AI (with the help of my team).
- Building ecomhackers.ai, a platform that helps businesses scale, optimize, and potentially invest in them.
- Growing AsiaSourcingPros and my other investments into larger ventures, while trying to determine the optimal point for an exit.
